Dmitry Klenov

Dmitry Klenov founded Altus Capital in 2016 as a platform for Russian and international investment projects, based on his own more than ten years of management experience in this field.

Currently, Mr. Klenov invests, along with his own funds, the funds of independent investors and his partners in projects of a wide investment profile in the Russian Federation and abroad, advises them on investment analysis and evaluation, as well as deals with project structuring, real estate acquisition, financing, leasing and management of both private and commercial real estate.

From 2006 to 2016. Dmitry Klenov was a partner and headed the legal and real estate practice of the first independent family office in Russia, creating and developing investment funds for the company's clients. With the participation of Mr. Klenov, the assets under the management of an independent family office exceeded $1 billion, and the company itself took a leading position in the large private capital management market.

In 2017 Dmitry Klenov announced to the business community that he intends to focus his efforts on the development of the Altus Capital business, moving to the status of a passive shareholder of an independent family office, which has become an autonomous successful business by this time.

Until 2006, Mr. Klenov worked in one of the largest Russian real estate development companies, where he was responsible for optimizing real estate management, analyzing investments in construction, and implementing investment contracts. From 2000 to 2003, Mr. Klenov held the position of project manager in a large construction company, was responsible for the implementation of such significant projects as the Lefortovsky Tunnel (the third transport ring), the bridge over the Moskva River near the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.

Dmitry graduated from MGIMO (U) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation with a degree in International Law and the law of the European Union.
