Dmitry Klenov established Altus Capital in 2016 as a platform for Russian and international investment projects based on his own decade-plus long executive experience in this field.
Currently Mr. Klenov invests, along with his own funds, those of unrelated investors and his partners in wide investment profile projects in the RF and abroad, advises them on the issues of investment analysis and appraisal, and addresses the issues of the structuring of investment projects, acquisition, financing, leasing, and management of both private and commercial real estate.
From 2006 to 2016 Dmitry Klenov was a partner and headed legal and real estate practice of the first independent family office in Russia creating and developing investment funds for customers of the company. With the participation of Mr. Klenov the assets managed by the independent family office exceeded $1 bln, and the company itself established itself as a leader in the market of large privately owned capital management.
In 2017 Dmitry Klenov informed business community that he intends to focus his efforts on Altus Capital business development passing into the status of a passive shareholder of the independent family office which became by the time an autonomous successful business.
Prior to 2006 Mr. Klenov was employed by one of the largest Russian development companies, where he was in charge of property management optimization, construction investments analysis, investment contracts implementation. From 2000 to 2003 Mr. Klenov served as a project manager for a major construction company, where he was responsible for the implementation of such notable projects as the Lefortovo Tunnel (Third Ring Road) and the bridge across the Moskva River near the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.
Dmitry graduated from the MGIMO Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia with a degree in International Law and European Union Law.
